Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients and would be delighted to see you. If you are seeking a Primary Care Doctor, we are the place that addresses all of your general health care needs.
How do I make an appointment?
You can schedule an Appointment Onile 24 hours a day! If you prefer to call, you can reach our office at 703-649-3803. Our staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans and will file all claims. Our billing department is happy to assist you with obtaining any necessary paperwork for your insurance company. If you have additional questions pretaining to your insurance coverage, please contact our us by calling 703-649-3803.
How can I get a referral?
If our doctors determine you need to see a specialist and your insurance requires a referral, we will be happy to provide you one, as well as be your primary care consultant and liaison with all outside physicians. Our staff will take the required information and complete the referral for you. The normal turnaround time for a referral request is 48 hours. Please allow additional time for certain pre-certification requests. We will notify you when a referral has been completed and provide further instructions.
What if I need lab tests?
One Care Medical has an in-site laboratory, however should you require specific tests which cannot be performed in out office, the doctor will provide you with lab orders and location of the nearest labs.
What is the preparation for Blood Testing?
If you have specific tests scheduled that requires fasting, you should not eat any food 10-12 hours prior to your appointment time unless otherwise specified by the doctor. We encourage all patients to drink water during those 12 hours to prevent dehydration. You should also take your regular medications unless otherwise instructed. If you have ever fainted previously while having your blood drawn, please inform the laboratory staff so that we can take any necessary precausions.
What are your billing procedures?
All patients will be asked to present their Insurance ID Card as well as make any co-payments at the time of visit. We file all primary insurance claims on behalf of our patients but have contractual agreements with a specific set of major carriers. While we make every effort to adhere to the billing requirements for these plans we cannot guarantee that all services will be covered by your insurance. It is the patient’s responsibility to know and understand their insurance coverage. Patient statements are sent once a month. These statements indicate any payments made on the account within the past month and indicate what charges are still pending with your insurance. Any account balances exceeding 90 days will accrue interest charges and subject to a $5 billing fee each period.

How do I get a refill of my medications?
Before you run out of medication, please contact our office and we will review your records and provide refill instructions. Please make sure to have your medication and pharmacy information available when you call. Allow 24 business hours for the processing of your refill. Prescriptions that require pre-authorization may require additional time. Refills may be called in directly to the pharmacy at your request.

How do I get my records transferred or copied?
Transfer of any medical records requires a signed release from, which you can print directly from our website under the Forms section. Once a release has been signed and sent to our office, the request is usually processed within 10 days. Special arrangements can be made for urgent needs. The fee for having records copied is free (one a year) for up to 20 pages and $0.25 per page thereafter. All fees include postage.
What do I do if I need medical help after hours?
Our after-hours service is available for urgent matters. When calling our main telephone number, you will be prompted with instructions. Prescriptions refills and appointments are only handled during normal business hours. If you have a threatening medical emergency, call 911 immediatly or go to your nearest emergency room.
